Poul Henningsen 'PH Artichoke' Pendant Light for Louis Poulsen
The 'PH Artichoke' Pendant Light was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen, where it still hangs today. Since then, the 'PH Artichoke's' unique sculptural aesthetic has become an iconic midcentury design.
Executed in punched brass, punched copper, or laser cut steel the fixture displays 72 die-cut leaves, arranged in rows of twelve to provide glare-free light from any angle. To ensure a high level of quality, much of the production process is still carried out by hand. The 'PH Artichoke' provides a sculptural centerpiece to any space.

Suspension: High lustre chrome plated, spun aluminum. Brass, copper, and stainless steel variants are brushed and coated. Black is powder coated with white, wet painted inner side. White, rose, and dusty green are is wet painted.
