Designed in the 1950s, this incredibly charming and refined brass 'Face' bottle stopper is hand-fabricated in polished brass with a cork base by Werkstätte Carl Auböck in Vienna, Austria. Ideal for a housewarming gift, the brass bottlestopper measures 2.5 inches in diameter. The carved midcentury-styled face in the brass cap completes the design.

Produced by Carl Auböck IV in the original Auböck workshop in the 7th district of Vienna using the same exacting standards, high-quality materials, original molds, and techniques of his legendary namesake. Auböck's design career was long and varied, reaching its pinnacle of prestige at the Triennale di Milano in 1954, where he received four gold medals in recognition of his iconic work.
