Pale Rose 'PH 2/2 Question Mark' Glass Table Lamp for Louis Poulsen.
Originally introduced as the "nightstand lamp" in 1931, the 'PH 2/2 Question Mark' table lamp is based on Poul Henningsen's innovative and iconic three-shade system in which the glass shades provide soft, glare-free light.
The 'PH 2/2 Question Mark' table lamp is executed in mouth blown three-layer opal pale rose glass shades which are glossy and top and sandblasted matte underneath. The base and characteristic "question mark" curved stem is executed in an untreated brushed brass with fine hairlines-- a soft complement to the opal glass shades. The head of the lamp can be adjusted by rotating it. Please note the brushed untreated brass will change over time and develop a patina. On/off switch on lamp base.
