This legendary design originated from Henningsen's brilliant three-shade system designed in 1925-6. Using mathematics, Henningsen sought to create glare-free, direct light and soft shadows.The resulting design led to hundreds of models ranging from floor lamps to table lamps, pendants, chandeliers, and wall lamps.

The 'PH 1/1' Portable table lamp is the smallest of the 3-shade systems. Executed in mouth blown white opal glass with frame available in brass metallized or high luster chrome plated brass. These luxurious materials are paired with a rechargeable battery for cordless use in a wide range of interiors, from bedside tables to bookshelves. Also ideal for outdoor patio lighting (the lamp must be brought in out of the elements). The 4-step dimmer does "dim-to-warm," casting a candlelight glow as the lamp dims.

Integrated LED 2.5W dim-to-warm bulb (1800-2700K). The PH 1/1 portable version offers 5 hours of battery life at 100%, 9 hours at 45%, 20 hours at 20% and 60 hours at 5% brightness. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours. Can be programmed to step or stepless dimming as desired. Memory feature recalls the last setting when turned off or on. Integrated LED light and charger are replaceable by a certified electrician. Replacement shades also available.
