A rare model executed in red enameled metal and brass. The shades can be raised and lowered. Reminiscent of Paavo Tynell's iconic designs for Taito Oy. An incredibly refined table lamp that is quintessentially Finnish in its conception and execution.
A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the innovative work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer for collectors in the know.
Rewired for 60w max medium base LED equivalent bulb. The lamp has a black cloth cord and period-styled US wall plug. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing available from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee.
Some scuffs, dings, nicks, bends, and patination as largely shown in the images and noted only for accuracy.
