1950s brass table lamp attributed to Jacques Biny. An exceptionally clean and simple design executed in patinated brass with white painted inner shade. Shade rotates freely on a ball joint. Quintessentially French in its conception and execution attributed to the incomparable Jacques Biny.
Professionally rewired for US electrical with new cloth cord and period styled US wall plug. Accommodates a single 60w equivalent US candelabra bulb (lower with incandescent) Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Some age appropriate scuffs, marks, dings, bends, patina and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy.
