1950s Finnish Perforated Brass Pendant In The Manner of Paavo Tynell.
Executed in perforated brass with an attractive patina, this sculptural pendant lamp is highly characteristic of Tynell's iconic work for Taito Oy in the late 1940s or early 1950s. An incredibly refined piece that is quintessentially Finnish in its conception and execution. Unmarked.
Accommodates 1x 60W equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulb (LED only). Professionally rewired for US electrical with new period-style 4.25" brass ceiling canopy added. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
