1960s Sergio Mazza 'Clio' Sconce for Artemide in Chrome. Executed in chromed metal and opaline glass, Italy, circa 1960s. Clean and architectural, this hardwired sconce emits a pleasingly filtered light through its double glass shades. Unmarked.
 
Born in Italy in 1931, Sergio Mazza created numerous iconic designs for Artemide throughout the 1960s, from a range of lighting to fiberglass molded seating and other home furnishings which due to their limited production runs have become highly collectible with their clean lines and intuitive utility.

Each sconce accommodates 2x 60w max equivalent standard medium base (e26) LED bulbs (LED only, not included). Professionally rewired for US electrical, but retains original Italian backplate measuring 4 3/4" x 2 3/8".
