Louis Poulsen 'Toldbod' Glass Pendant
Originally designed in 1982, the first 'Toldbod' pendant was based on the light distribution of the PH Ellipse reflector: the last street light conceived by Poul Henningsen before his death. Following the design's success, Louis Poulsen has continued to expand the 'Toldbod' line, with additional variations coming to fruition as recently as 2019.
Executed in mouth blown white opal glass and suspended from a brushed stainless steel cable and matching white canopy the 'Toldbod' glass pendant was introduced in 2002. The 'Toldbod' pendant emits glare-free light directed primarily downwards and the opal glass provides a comfortable and uniform illumination.
