The 'AJ' series was originally designed in 1957 by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for the lighting collection of the iconic SAS Royal Hotel. Today, his furniture and lighting designs are sought after by collectors worldwide.
 
 
The original 'AJ' family of lamps included Jacobsen's iconic design in floor, table and wall lamp variations and the 'AJ Garden' bollard expands the collection to suit outdoor needs. 
 
 
Executed with a stainless steel stem and base plate, the 'AJ Garden' bollard has a cast aluminum fixed head. The exterior surfaces are powder coated black and the interior of the sade is wet painted white to ensure a soft and pleasant reflection of light through the injection-molded opal polycarbonate diffuser.  The resulting output is a downward directed glare-free illumination.
