Arne Jacobsen 'Eklipta' Wall or Ceiling Light for Louis Poulsen.
AJ Eklipta was designed by Arne Jacobsen for Louis Poulsen in 1959 for Rødovre Town Hall for indoor and and outdoor use. Executed in three-layer hand-blown opal glass, the fixture emits soft, uniform light. The shade's transparent edge creates a decorative halo of light around the fixture. Today, the AJ Eklipta is used worldwide and in a variety of architectural contexts.
