Aulenti and Castiglioni 'Trepiu' Pendant Light for Stilnovo.
 
Founded in 1946 in Milan, Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting companies in Italy during the Midcentury era, producing iconic pieces by such luminaries as Joe Colombo, Angelo Mangiarotti, Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Scolari, Piero Castiglioni, Bruno Gatta and others. Stilnovo was relaunched in 2019 with a commitment to faithfully re-edition its legendary designs with uncompromising attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship.
 
The 'Trepiù' pendant lamp, originally designed in 1972 by Gae Aulenti and Livio Castiglioni, is wonderfully modern, with a sandblasted PMMA diffuser that is chromed or solid white to cast a soft, uniform upward and downward light. This authorized re-edition is meticulously executed to Stilnovo's exacting standards in a PMMA diffuser beneath a black or yellow perforated aluminum canopy. Black steel ceiling canopy on all variants.

Choice of colors include Black/Polished Chrome, RAL 1003 Yellow /Polished Chrome, Black/White RAL 9016, Yellow/White RAL 9016. Lead time for yellow/chrome, yellow/white, and black/white variants is 6-8 weeks. Please note that this item ships from Stilnovo's facility, so local pickup is not available. Illuminated via one medium base bulb (bulb not included). Recommended 24 watt dimmable LED bulb. IP20 rated. This lamp is UL listed. Ceiling canopy covers a standard 4" US junction box. Maximum drop is 106.3 inches (95 inches of black cord plus the fixture height).
