Aulenti & Castiglioni 'Minibox' table lamp for Stilnovo
 
Founded in 1946 in Milan, Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting companies in Italy during the Midcentury era, producing iconic pieces by such luminaries as Joe Colombo, Angelo Mangiarotti, Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Scolari, Piero Castiglioni, Bruno Gatta and others. Stilnovo was relaunched in 2019 with a commitment to faithfully re-edition its legendary designs with uncompromising attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship.
 
The 'Minibox' table lamp, originally designed by Gae Aulenti & Piero Castiglioni in the 1980's, was created as a playful rendition of a miner's 'torch.'  The reflector, which houses a dimmable LED in this contemporary re-edition, attaches to the lamp's body with a magnet, providing the user endless choices and maximum flexibility with the light's direction and placement.  Executed in painted steel.

Illuminated via integrated and dimmable LED behind PMMA diffuser, providing 8.5 watts with 600 lumens of 2700K color and a CRI of 90.  Powered by black cord 6.5' in length. This lamp is UL listed.
