Greta Magnusson Grossman 'Cobra' Floor Lamp for GUBI.
Designed in 1950 by Grossman, this is an authorized re-edition by GUBI of Denmark who meticulously reproduces her work with scrupulous attention to detail and materials that are faithful to the original specifications. Executed in metal with brass accents and a semi-matte black finish. The stem gently bends to direct light where needed. The Cobra series of lights gets its name from the shape of the its shade, which is suggestive of the elegant lines of a cobra. Also available as a floor lamp and wall light in separate listings. The Cobra won the Good Design Award in 1950 and was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art.
