Ignazio Gardella was one of the leading figures in Italian twentieth-century architecture. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he founded Azucena with Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua in 1947. A renowned architect, he continued producing iconic furniture and lighting designs until the 1990s.
Originally designed for Gardella's Punta San Martino Hotel project, the Pagoda lamp was designed for the hotel's swimming pool area. Executed in stone and aluminum, this authorized re-edition is suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
