Originally designed in 1930 as a functional furnishing for the dormitories at the Cité Universitaire in Nancy, Prouvé's Lampe de Bureau is executed out of a single piece of powder-coated sheet steel. The design cleverly reflects warm, pleasant light using industrial material. With its small footprint and sculptural aesthetic, the Lampe de Bureau is an ideal lighting choice for a wide variety of settings.
Price is per item. Available in Deep Black, Japanese Red, Bleu Marcoule, and Blanc de Colombe (Ecru). Each color is based on Prouvé's original palette. This is an authorized re-edition by Vitra with warranty and Certificate of Authenticity. Accommodates one 12-watt E14 candelabra-base bulb (included) or LED equivalent. 2700 K warm white light, no dimmer.
