Joe Colombo 'Triedro' metal pendant lamp in white for Stilnovo
Founded in 1946 in Milan, Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting companies in Italy during the Mid-century era, producing iconic pieces by such luminaries as Joe Colombo, Angelo Mangiarotti, Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Scolari, Piero Castiglioni, Bruno Gatta and others. Stilnovo was relaunched in 2019 with a commitment to faithfully re-edition its legendary designs with uncompromising attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship.
The 'Triedro' pendant, originally designed by Joe Colombo in 1970, is largely reminiscent of professional studio lighting found at a photo shoot. Executed in a glossy white powder coated reflector shaped into a series of 90 degree angles, suspected from a black cloth cord. The 'Triedro' is also available in a floor lamp version in a separate listing.
