'Obello' Rechargeable Glass Table Lamp by Bill Curry for GUBI
Originally conceived in 1970 by designer Bill Curry, the 'Obello' was a concept that was never in production until now. Using the visual form of a mushroom, Curry took inspiration from the atomic age, space race, and pop culture to design a lamp with a single glass form, eliminating the need for a separate base
Executed in a frosted, mouth-blown glass shade with an updated integrated dimmable-LED light source, the rechargeable 'Obello' can move indoors and out. A USB-C port on the base of the lamp allows a full charge in less than five hours; a single charge provides up to 40 hours of light.
Price is per item. Available in unlimited quantities.
