‘Oh Mei Ma Kabir’ Gold Leaf Chandelier for Ingo Maurer
 
‘Oh Mei Ma Kabir’ was created by celebrated German lighting icon Ingo Maurer. With creativity and technical prowess, Maurer’s lamps have been explicitly designed to “stimulate the imagination and excite the emotions.” Today his Munich workshop continues to handcraft incomparable creations true to the one of a kind spirit of the firm’s founder.
 
The stunning ‘Oh Mei Ma Kabir’ chandelier is fashioned from six thin sheets of gold leafed paper in various sizes suspended from thin metal cables. The shades are nested above each other to create a soft, ethereal diffusion of light throughout your space. Like a shimmering sailboat, it gracefully floats above the room. ‘Oh Mei Ma Kabir’ is suspended from a silver cable that can be adjusted to bring the total height including the lamp to anywhere from 67 in. to 138 in.

Illuminated with three built-in LEDs: Two 39W Zhaga socket EEC F (A-G) energy class LEDs, providing a maximum brightness of 7780 lumens, a color temperature of 2700 K, and a CRI >95, plus a 1W up-light blue LED. Dimmable with a trailing-edge dimmer when operated with the product’s native light source (Dimmer not included). Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from an authorized 3rd party vendor for an additional fee.
