Paavo Tynell '1972' Bamboo Pendant for GUBI.

Originally designed by Paavo Tynell, encompassing several variations of a classic 1950s Tynell design, this family of classic pendants expands on the design language he developed in 1948 for the '1965' pendant.

Executed in polished brass accents that include the classic Tynell finial, the '1972' pendant comes with a hand-sewn bamboo shade with a linen liner. The 'A1972' version includes a brass counterweight and pulley to raise and lower the shade; a sandblasted glass diffuser casts a warm glow in both models.

Price is per item. Available with and without counterweight. Please specify when ordering. Also available in a large version (no counterweight) in a separate listing.

Made to order. In-stock lead time 1-2 weeks. Out of stock lead time can be 8 weeks or more.

Accommodates two standard US medium base e26 6-10W LED bulbs (bulb not included). Recommended LED Tala bulb available separately here. Includes golden cloth cord for a maximum drop of 12 feet; please note that maximum drop on counterweight version is 10.2 inches. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional cost.

Made to order.
