Pair of 1950s Lisa Johansson-Pape glass & metal ceiling lamps. Executed in blown opaline glass and black painted metal. Manufactured by Stockmann Orno, Finland. A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the refined work of Lisa Johansson-Pape has made her an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by knowledgable collectors.
Accommodates 1x standard medium base 100W equivalent LED. Rewired for US electrical with original Swedish ceiling plate modified for hardwiring over a standard American j-box. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Some scuffs, bends, dings and patination noted only for accuracy. Please note only one representative example shown in images, but both lamps in equally good condition.
