Poul Henningsen 'PH Artichoke' Pale Rose Pendant for Louis Poulsen
The 'PH Artichoke' pendant light was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavillonen restaurant in Copenhagen, where it still hangs today. Since then, the 'PH Artichoke' has become an iconic midcentury design with its unique sculptural aesthetic.
This special edition pale rose version of the 'PH Artichoke' from Louis Poulsen features 72 leaves, positioned to provide glare-free light from any angle. To ensure a high level of quality, much of the production process is still carried out by hand. This pale rose pendant is executed in laser cut steel leaves powder coated in signature pale rose with a high luster chrome plated laser cut steel frame.
