Poul Henningsen 'PH 3/3' Pale Rose Pendant Lamp for Louis Poulsen
The 'PH 3/3' pendants are based on Poul Henningsen's original drawings from the late 1920s and early 1930s. Henningsen designed hundreds of lamps based on the three-shade-system he developed in 1926, pioneering superior lighting for a range of applications.
The 'PH 3/3' is executed with mouth blown pale rose glass shades that are meticulously crafted at Louis Poulsen's factory in Vejen, Denmark. The glass is glossy on top and sandblasted matte underneath for soft, diffuse lighting. A frosted-glass bottom diffuser is included to ensure even light distribution. The canopy and socket house are untreated brushed bronze with fine hairlines. The brass may be polished or can be left to develop a beautiful natural patina over time.
