Part of his expanding line of furniture, Tom Dixon's Slab Lounge Chair is constructed in simple geometric shapes that celebrate the natural beauty of solid oak. Each piece has generous proportions, solid materiality and is softened with the gentle rounded edges. Executed in solid oak sourced from sustainably managed forests with a generous leather seat and backrest. The wood's surface is deeply brushed to expose its natural grain and finished with a matte lacquer.  Reminiscent of designs by Jean Prouvé or Pierre Chapo, the Slab lounge chair puts a contemporary spin on midcentury design.
