The Panthella collection, by Danish designer Verner Panton, was introduced in 1971 and remains one of his most popular lighting designs. Panton developed the Panthella table lamp to give off an organic shape and have both the foot and the shade serve as a reflector.
 
The 'Panthella 320' is a medium sized fixture and is executed in either injection molded acrylic for the opal variants or deep-drawn steel for the high luster chrome plated or brass variants. The opal acrylic shade creates a diffuse and soft light distribution while the metallized brass and hight luster chrome shades direct light directly downward. All versions produce atmospheric light, illuminating the surroundings softly and comfortably.
