Originally designed by Jean Prouvé, the now-iconic Fauteuil de Salon is available in an authorized re-edition by Vitra. Executed in bent steel with ample cushioning in a contemporary palette. The solid wood armrests emphasize Prouvé's structural aesthetic and echoes the tables and chairs in the rest of the Prouvé Collection.
 
Price is per item. Handmade to order in Switzerland. Clients may choose the upholstery options from Vitra's three fabric groups and two leather groups. This wide range of Vitra upholstery allows for highly customizable combinations. Bases are available in 7 color options. Japanese Red, Ecru, and Deep Black are standard base colors. The solid wood armrests come in natural oak, smoked oak, and American walnut. Hard glides come standard; felt glides are also available.
