1960s Opaline Glass and Black Metal Wall or Ceiling Lamps for Limburg
A quintessentially minimalist design executed in opaline glass and black metal. A highly functional ceiling lamp of attractive scale and incomparable refinement. Each lamp bears the "Limberg" stamp on the mount. Glashütte Limburg was founded by Heinrich Gartenbrink in 1946. Their collaborations with designers such as Helena Tynell have made their pieces long sought after by discerning collectors.

Each lamp accommodates 1x 75w max equivalent US standard medium base (e26) LED bulb. (LED only, recommended Tala bulb available for purchase here.) Professionally rewired for US electrical and for mounting over standard US j-box, but not UL listed. Recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee; contact us to facilitate.
Good vintage condition. Some age-appropriate scuffs, dings, nicks, losses and wear as largely shown and noted only for accuracy. Please note that only one representative example is featured in the listing photos, but all lamps in similarly good condition and present well as a set.
