1960s Sculptural Yellow Wall Light Attributed to Jacques Biny
An exceptionally clean and simple wall lamp design executed in yellow painted metal and brass with a white painted inner shade. Shade rotates up/down and left/right on a ball joint. A ring of perforations around the top of the conical shade create a play of light and shadow when lit. Quintessentially French in its conception and execution attributed to the incomparable Jacques Biny. Unmarked.

Professionally rewired for US electrical and modified with period-style round 3.5 inch backplate to mount to a standard US junction box. Accommodates 1x 60w max equivalent standard US candelabra (e12) LED bulb. LED only. Recommended Tala bulb available for purchase here.
