1960s Sergio Mazza 'Sigma' Wall or Ceiling Light for Artemide, 1960s.
Executed in nickeled brass and pressed opaline glass by Sergio Mazza for Artemide, Italy, circa 1960s. The glass casts a soft glow when illuminated. Born in Italy in 1931, Sergio Mazza created numerous iconic designs for Artemide throughout the 1960s, from a range of lighting to fiberglass molded seating and other home furnishings which due to their limited production runs have become highly collectible with their clean lines and intuitive utility.
