Founded in 1946 in Milan, Stilnovo was one of the most innovative lighting companies in Italy during the Midcentury era, producing iconic pieces by such luminaries as Joe Colombo, Angelo Mangiarotti, Ettore Sottsass, Gaetano Scolari, Piero Castiglioni, Bruno Gatta and others. Stilnovo was relaunched in 2019 with a commitment to faithfully re-edition its legendary designs with uncompromising attention to detail, materials and craftsmanship.

The 'Sputnik' chandelier lamp, originally designed in 1957 by brothers Achille & Pier Castiglioni, is wonderfully reminiscent of fireworks, with color and light expanding outward in all directions. Featuring 16 golden arms executed in electroplated steel, with the end if each arm accommodating one E12 candelabra bulb. The stem is executed in brass and interchangeable to have drops of 19.7", 27.6" or 43.9" when the two brass lengths are combined. This re-editioned version is meticulously executed to Stilnovo's exacting standards in brass and electro-plated steel.
