Executed in enameled aluminum and brass for Valaistustyš Ky Finland, circa 1941. Signed with impressed manufacturer's mark to fixture: Valaistustyo AMA 500.
Aino Maria Marsio-Aalto was a finish architect and a key innovator of Scandinavian Modern design. The co-founder of the legendary design brand Artek, she energetically collaborated with her more famous husband Alvar Aalto on many of its most iconic designs.
