'Pendant Light A110 Hand Grenade' by Alvar Aalto for Artek

This elegant pendant light is nicknamed Hand Grenade for its distinctive shape. Composed of a lacquered steel shade and an inner ring, 'Pendant Light A110' provides an exceptional warm-toned quality of light, projecting both direct and indirect light onto ceilings. Its perforated inner ring creates a halo effect around the pendant, while simultaneously reducing glare. Hand Grenade was designed for the building Alvar Aalto created for the Finnish Engineers’ Association and is produced by its original manufacturer, Artek of Finland.

Price is per item. Available to order in unlimited quantities in choice of all black or all white. Executed in painted metal and brass-plated ring with painted interior. Also available with a polished brass ring--please inquire.

White variant in stock with lead time of 1-3 weeks. Black variant lead time 6-7 weeks. All other variants and out of stock items have an additional 8 week lead time, or longer. Accommodates a single standard US medium base E26 bulb with a maximum 60 Watt Equivalent (bulb not included). Dimmable according to bulb. Recommended LED Tala bulb available separately here. Suspended from the canopy by plastic cord with a maximum drop of 8.2 feet. This lamp is UL listed.
