'Bench 168B' Solid Top by Alvar Aalto for Artek

Designed in 1945 and produced by its original manufacturer, Artek of Finland. Executed in solid birch wood with black, white or natural lacquer finish. These benches easily fit in an entryway or act as a casual coffee table. The sturdy construction and natural birch wood combine durability with style and creates an organic aesthetic that fits into just about any interior or exterior space.

Generously proportioned and with all the virtues of an Aalto Bench, 'Bench 168B' is equally at home in public and private spheres. Versatile, the bench can serve as seating, storage or display and is equally elegant positioned standing alone, against a wall, in combination with a bed or with the rectangular Aalto table 83.

Price per item. Available in three standard finishes: birch veneer, black lacquered and white lacquered – and is customisable by color, leg height, and stackability. Also available in an upholstered top version in a separate listing.
