Designed in 1959 by Danish architect Bodil Kjær, the BK lounge sofa was created as part of a series of architecturally inspired indoor-outdoor furniture. Crafted from solid teak with a slatted seat and back, the sofa displays the same geometric sensibility that underpins the rest the collection. This quality is further enhanced by the armrests, legs and runners, which are morticed together to form sleek squares. The BK12 lounge sofa is executed in solid untreated FSC-certified teak that will develop a beautiful patina over time.
