Designed in Italy in 1971 the model 262 reflects the vision and mastery of Gino Sarfatti. The iconic masterpiece is a tribute to modernist design expressing Sarfatti’s inventive search for using light in its most honest and essential way. The idea of the lamp is simply to give stage to the light bulb. Taking the presence and shape of a mirrored bulb as a starting point, the satin aluminum reflector elegantly supports, enhances, and gently diffuses the light source to achieve the best quality of light. This lamp is meticulously crafted by Astep Design of Italy, helmed by Sarfatti's grandson, with the highest attention to detail
