Large ‘Rituals XL’ Hand Blown Opaline Glass Table Lamp for Foscarini
Designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba and produced by Foscarini, the Italian lighting firm founded in Venice on the legendary island of Murano. The ‘Rituals XL’ is fabricated using many of the same artisanal glass blowing techniques perfected over centuries, with thoughtful attention to detail. The glass grooves evoke the bamboo-ribbed washi paper of a Japanese light sculpture or traditional Chinese lantern.
