'Medusa' Mouth-blown Opaline Glass Pendant Lamp by Carlo Nason for Established & Sons

Originally designed in the 1960s by Carlo Nason of Italy, the Medusa has been brought back into production by Established & Sons in table, pendant and wall versions. Executed in multilayered, mouth-blown opaline glass,  the lamp takes its name from its resemblance to a jellyfish. Using many of the same techniques as the 1960s original production run, the new Medusa features layers of glass with a white mist finish that merge to create a warm, inviting glow over the proprietary integrated LED. Subtle variations in the layered glass make each piece unique, reflecting the mastery of traditional Murano craftsmanship.

Integrated 5W, 7W, or 13W LED bulb, 2700K. CRI: 90. Small lamp is 500 lumens; medium is 690 lumens, large is 1100 lumens. Black painted steel ceiling canopy measures 4.8 inches in diameter and 2.2 inches hight. Powered by low-voltage Kevlar-insulated ultra-slim black textile cord (0.15 inches thick). Cord length is 118 inches and can be cut to desired drop. This lamp is IP20 and ETL rated. Not UL listed, but recommended UL listing possible from authorized 3rd party vendor upon request for an additional fee. Contact us to facilitate.
