Pair of 1950s Perforated Brass Wall Lamps Attributed to Mauri Almari
A rare and elegant design executed in sculptural brass on a gooseneck adjustable stem with attractive vintage patina throughout. Small perforations at the top of the shade provide a geometric play of light when turned on. Unmarked. A contemporary of Paavo Tynell, the refined work of Mauri Almari has made him an increasingly valued midcentury Finnish designer by collectors.
