Poul Henningsen 'PH 3/2' Pale Rose Glass and Brass Table Lamp for Louis Poulsen.
Poul Henningsen’s legendary design stems from his own, brilliant three-shade system from late 1920s. The 'PH 3/2' was introduced in 1927 and was among the first Henningsen designed with opal glass shades, sandblasted on the underside to provide soft, uniform light.
The 'PH 3/2' table lamp is executed in four layers of mouth blown pale rose opal glass. Each shade features a glossy pale rose glass top and sandblasted white bottom to cast a soft, diffuse light. The shades sit atop an untreated brass stem that will develop a beautiful patina over time.
