Originally designed in the 1930s by Vilhelm Lauritzen for the construction of the Radiohuset building in Copenhagen, the VL 45 comes in several finishes and sizes. The original white 3-layer opaline glass pendant comes in 3 sizes. The pale rose, yellow, and amber glass variants are available in the small and medium sizes. Amber and yellow are 2025 special editions created in partnership with Louis Poulsen. All are capped with a brushed brass top which will develop a natural patina. Each lamp casts a uniform illumination from a timeless design that brings beauty to any room, whether lit or unlit. Ideal for bar, kitchen and bedside lighting.

Price is per item. Available to order in unlimited quantities in choice of white, pale yellow, pale rose, or amber glass, and in two sizes. The original white version is available in three sizes.

The small ø6.8" pendant accommodates a single max 10W LED G16.5 standard US e12 candelabra bulb and the medium and large pendants accommodate one 22W A-21 LED standard US e26 medium base bulb. Dimmable according to bulb (bulb not included). Recommended Tala bulbs available separately here. Suspended from ø5.2" white canopy by white braided textile cord with a maximum length of 12'. This lamp is IP20 rated and UL listed.
