Originally conceived in 1962 by designer Bill Curry, the award-winning 'Stemlite' line became known as a 'total look' lamp. The base and shade function as a single unit, and may be mixed and matched with various bases to create a wall lamp or wall light. The 'Stemlite' was used on the set of the original Star Trek series, and remained in production until 1977. 

This is an authorized re-edition from GUBI, executed in an opal glass shade and a painted die-cast base. The Black Chrome, Pebble Gray, and Black Red finishes are a curated palette that underscores its mid-century character while highlighting the qualities of the opal shade. Each globe is mouth-blown by skilled artisans, giving every Stemlite a subtle individuality. While the form remains consistent, subtle variations in expression may occur, reflecting the artistry of the mouth-blown process and giving each globe its own character, all while ensuring evenly diffused light.

Shorter lamp accommodates a single medium base E26 10-12W LED bulb/ 1100 lumens. Taller lamp accommodates 8-10W LED dimmable bulb, 810 lumens.
