Verner Panton 'Wire' Table Lamp in Metal for Verpan

The Wire lamp translates Panton’s exploration of steel wire into a simple and sensuous design with a featherlight feel. While exploring the artistic potential of steel wire material and techniques in the early 70s, Verner Panton designed a playful reinterpretation of a lightbulb silhouette. Executed in chrome-plated, cylindrical steel wire framework that holds an acrylic opaline shade, the Wire Lamp has a sculptural quality. An integrated metal reflector within the shade produces a soft, diffused glow.

Available in unlimited quantities in two sizes with a white or orange shade. Also available as a floor lamp and portable version in separate listings.

Small: height 16.3 in. diameter: 11.8 in. Large: height: 21.3 in. diameter: 15.8 in. 

Smaller variant accommodates a single max 60W equivalent LED candelabra base bulb. Larger variant accommodates a single medium base (E26) max 60W equivalent LED bulb. LED only. Recommended Tala bulbs available for purchase here. Powered by 86.6 inches of transparent cord with on/off switch on cord. This lamp is UL listed.
